Hello again!

giphy (3).gif

Now that you know a bit more about copywriting, I thought it would be good to give you a taste of the #copywriterlifestyle.

The way your day-to-day pans out will be determined by the kind of copywriting job you do.

You can either become a freelance copywriter or an in-house copywriter.

What's the difference?

Freelance copywriters work for themselves. They're essentially their own boss. They don't work for a company.

Take me - I'm a freelance copywriter.

I'm not employed by a company or an agency.  I define my own schedule. I don't have a set 9-5 job. I work when I want and how I want (check out this video to see a day in my life as a young copywriter).

For those of you that like freedom and flexibility, freelance copywriting is ideal. You can travel around the world. Work from anywhere. And you can set your own rates (how much people pay you).

In-house copywriters, on the other hand, work for a company or agency. They are employed full-time. They get paid a set salary each month, just like any other 9-5 job.

If you prefer a bit more stability, then in-house copywriting is probably better suited to you.

Now, there's no right or wrong here. Whichever route you end up choosing is entirely your decision.

I'd recommend you do a bitttt more research on the two so you can figure out which work set-up suits you best (and remember, you can always switch from one to the other).

We're nearlllly done - I just have one final rabbit hole for you to explore.
